1971 Camaro RS/Z28 Resto-Mod
This is a solid, rust-free 1971 Chevrolet Camaro RS/Z28 resto-mod. It has received a full restoration with just over 8k miles since restoration. It is striking in appearance with the exterior repainted in the correct code-49 Antique Green with black striping and black interior. The power plant is a 355 Cubic-inch V-8 Blueprint crate engine making 420h.p. with a Pro-M sequential port fuel injection system, aluminum heads, hydraulic roller cam, steel crank and 10:5.1 compression, custom 2-1/2 inch aluminized dual exhaust with transverse muffler, Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission with McLeod hydraulic clutch. All that power is put to the ground with a G.M. 10-bolt/ 8.5" posi-Tru-Trac rear axle containing 3:73 gears and a Moser rear cover. The chassis has been upgraded with Global West tubular upper and lower control arms and drop spindles, CPP Hydro-boost brake system with Wilwood 6-piston front disc brakes and standard rear drum, front and rear sway bars, and Global West sub-frame connectors.
