We are proud to offer on consignment this outstanding 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Coupe street-rod. The owner did not cut any corners on this build and used all top-quality parts. The car runs and drives great with just under 900 miles since completion. It has always been kept in a heated and cooled garage. It has won many car shows and is ready for the next owner to enjoy.
This car features its original all steel body with new steel running boards that have all been coated with AL’s rust protectant and insulation. It features a one piece contoured windshield, custom made smooth to the body fuel filler door and new stainless bumpers. It is stunningly finished in Brandywine Metallic paint that is complimented with an Adobe custom ultra leather interior and trunk that features special made stainless twisted trim and Mercedes wool loop carpet. To add to the interior comforts, it is also equipped with custom bucket seats with lap belts, polished automatic shift-tilt steering column with Budnick steering wheel, and Dakota digital VHX analog gauges with console mounted indicators. The drivetrain consists of a new G.M. LS3/430h.p. V8 engine, new G.M. 4L65 automatic transmission, and a new Ford 9-inch rear axle. It is all decked out with a Vintage Air polished front runner serpentine belt system, polished Vintage Air heat and A/C system, custom valve covers, custom coil covers, custom coated headers and exhaust, Walker radiator and cooling components including electric fan and shroud. It is equipped with a Mustang II style front end with tubular control arms and power rack and pinion steering, Wilwood power 4-wheel disc brakes, QA1 shocks on all corners with rear air bags and in dash controller. This all rolls on a set of polished 17-inch Foose Knuckle wheels with Kumho performance radial tires.
