We are proud to offer this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS mild resto-mod for sale. This beautiful Super Sport began life as a 396/325 h.p., bucket-seat, automatic car equipped with factory A/C. It has since undergone a complete frame-off rotisserie restoration with exceptional attention to detail.
The car has been refinished in base/clear in its original color code 51-51 Dusk Blue Metallic and is paired with a correct new black stock-style interior. It is now powered by a 1969-dated 396 V8 4-bolt main engine, bored .30 over, featuring 375 h.p. heads and the correct aluminum intake. Engine components include a forged crank, Comp Cams 854-16 hydraulic roller cam, Comp Cams Magnum steel roller-tip rockers, Comp Cams lifters, Manley stainless steel valves, Speed-Pro forged pistons, Sealed Power chrome-moly rings, G.M. high-performance dimple connecting rods, Clevite rod and main bearings, Cloyes HEX-A-JUST timing gear set, Holley 4160 4-barrel carburetor, Pertronix D100700 distributor, and a Milodon oil pan.
The transmission is a 1969-dated Muncie M21 4-speed paired with a Centerforce clutch, Lakewood bellhousing with block plate, and a Hurst Competition Plus shifter.
The underside and chassis are equally impressive, featuring painted body-color floors, a black powder-coated frame, and powder-coated suspension components. It retains the factory F41 components and 12-bolt rear axle, which has been upgraded with 3:73 US/Strange gears, an Eaton Posi-traction differential, Moser axles, and a Moser aluminum rear-end cover.
Additional features include power steering with new MOOG parts, power 4-wheel disc brakes with stainless lines from Inline-Tube, Hotchkis 1-inch lowering springs, Hooker ceramic-coated headers, PYPES 2.5” stainless exhaust with chrome tips, Classic Auto Heat/Air conditioning, rechromed original bumpers, original glass except for the windshield, a Custom Autosound retro-fit Bow-Tie AM/FM stereo, and 18-inch Boze wheels with Goodyear F1 radial tires 235/45R18 front and 275/40R18 rear.
